Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum

Location: Head office, Stoke-on-Trent - full office based role

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm

At Holdcroft Motor Group, we believe great people are the engine behind our success. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Recruitment Specialist to head up our in house recruitment. In this key role, you’ll manage the full candidate journey—from writing compelling job adverts to issuing final offer letters.

Key responsibilities as a Recruitment Specialist:

  • Visiting our sites and working closely with the Hiring Managers to ensure that you get the right candidate for the role.
  • Writing and posting clear, attractive job adverts to attract top talent.
  • Conducting initial pre screening interviews.
  • Managing candidate applications and coordinating interviews with hiring managers.
  • Typing up and sending out offer letters and contracts accurately and on time.
  • Completing the onboarding process and dealing with all the recruitment and onboarding administration.
  • Ensuring the candidates turn up on their first day and liaise with payroll to ensure they are set up on our systems.
  • Producing monthly recruitment analytics for the Group HR Director.
  • In addition to dealing with full time recruits, you will be required to work with our temporary staffing agency to ensure that holiday cover is provided where necessary.
  • Assisting with the running of our Group Intern and Apprenticeship programme.
  • Attending job fairs and events on behalf of the Company when required.

What we are looking for in a Recruitment Specialist:

  • Previous recruitment and HR experience essential and preferably from within the motor industry.
  • Experience working with recruitment platforms including social media.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player with a can do attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel to Holdcroft sites.
